Chairman GCIOBA Canada Inc.
It is a privilege and honor to be the inaugural Chairman of our
old boy’s association in Canada.
Prompted by GCIOBA-NA leadership we started activities in
December 2022 by reaching out to old boys and gradually we have
been growing in number, presently we have over a hundred members
spread across Canada.
I am passionate about our common heritage originating from
Government College Ibadan and my vision is to build a GCIOBA
community in Canada that encourages interaction between old boys
and establishes networks for advancement. A community where we
are our brother’s keeper, and no one is left out.
I also intend to engage in activities and propose initiatives to
uplift our alma mater as well as showcasing our unique GCI
heritage within our respective communities.
